Poolesland fire, Long Beach Radio is on the scene

When all three Tofino fire trucks are fired up you know something's up. Our local news hound Kevin Drews is in Vancouver as his wife is delivering twins so I tried my hand at some journalism. Here are the results.

It was a long way from the entrance of the property to the fire, crews ran hose nearly a KM, only the smallest of the fire trucks could get even close to the fire, it was a hike of a couple 100 meters uphill to the actual site of the fire.

There you go, another fun day on the coast. The trip to Poolesland served up a few other gems....
