Creeping up on Canada Day in the most amazing place Canada has to offer...

I know I haven't been to Nunuvat.... or even Toronto but I think it's fair to say I live in the most amazing place Canada can throw at you. Bring it, Nashwaak Bridge, New Brunswick!!! We've had a string of nice, sunny days here in the rain forrest (unlike our desert friends in Alberta) and your ground seems pretty solid, despite the impending Cascadia earthquake (unlike out east). Also, it's absolutely stunning, rain or shine.

Canada Day is a fairly big deal 'round these parts, even below the 49th in Ukee. Here's a link to some of the events happening on Canada Day and the following few weeks as part of the Pacific Rim Summer Festival.

Been having some fun in the studio latley. Dennis, a psychic with Pacifica Psychics out of Victoria came in and did some reading on in-studio and phone-in guests. I interviewed Kevin Kaine, formerly of Grapes of Wrath and have been getting some work done for a TOP SECRET late night show that will start in a few weeks. Speaking of shows, Erica, whom you may remember from her show "The Hustle" last summer is on her way back to the coast and wants to fire up her monitor headphones for another summer of dancy goodness on Long Beach Radio. Stay Tuned!

Lastly, I was a reporter today, check out my big scoop! :P It was the talk of people standing around there for at least a few minutes.

Well, there's a quick one for you. Thanks for listening to Long Beach Radio.

PS Coming Soon; STICKERS!!!

PPS, here's the Kevin Kane interview if you're interested;

New Show, New Voices, Good Times On Long Beach Radio

It's good to be back!!! I snuck out of the studio for a week to get married and since I've been back it's Go, Go, Go!!

First things first we've got a new show Saturdays at 5, it's Terry David Mulligan's "Tasting Room Radio". The first episode will run tomorrow, with highlights from the Tofino Food and Wine Festival and The Ucluelet Salmon Ladder Derby. The west coast's foodies and winos will love this show, myself included.

On a more personal note, the wedding was incredible!!! Thanks to SOBO, The Weigh West, Smashing Glasses, Jamie's Whaling Station, The Sufferin' Bastards , Crab Apple Floral, Vancouver Island Brewery and all the folks who came to celebrate with us, picked something up I forgot, shucked oysters, and cleaned up after.

Lots of stuff coming up on the coast including the Pacific Rim Summer Festival. We're hoping to get some of the acts in studio or on the phone in the next month or so, stay tuned for that stuff here.

Ok, that's it for now. I'll try to get back to you soon now that I don't have wedding planning to eat up all my spare time. Thanks for listening to Long Beach Radio.
