Earth Quake near Port Alice today, felt on the West Coast

No Tsunami warnings, advisories or watches are currently in effect for the Long Beach region including Tofno, Ucluelet and the outlying communities. And earthquake took place around 12:43pm today on the Northern area of Vancouver Island approximately 50km south of Port Alice. At this time there are no reports of damage or injuries. THE WEST COAST ALASKA TSUNAMI WARNING CENTRE HAS ADVISED THAT NO AREAS OF COASTAL BRITISH COLUMBIA ARE AT RISK FROM THIS EVENT. REPEAT, NO AREAS OF COASTAL BRITISH COLUMBIA ARE AT RISK FROM THIS EVENT.
