2 Great Vancouver Island Songwriters In As Many Days (Lola Parks and Mike Edel)

Last week, due more to good luck than good planning I was visited by the winners of the Vancouver Island Music Awards' "Songwriter Of The Year" Awards. What a treat!!

First, on Thurday afternoon it was Lola Parks dropping in before a show, have a listen;


Then, on Friday we were visited by Mike Edel;


Tomorrow we're expecting a visit from the young and talented crew from The Michael Wood Band so stay tuned for that. They're playing tomorrow night at Jack's in The Marina West Motel.
