Big Fish, Good Tunes, Life On The Coast

Haven't updated the blog for a few days so here's a quickie;

If you're looking for fun this Friday check out Mike Edel at The Clayoquot Sound Community Theatre.  We've been spinning this one and a few more for the last couple weeks.



We're expecting Mike to come into the studio on Friday afternoon so tune in and you might even win a pair of tickets!

After that show a few of the Long Beach Radio crew are heading out to Coombs for The Kulth Music Festival... Mike's playing there too, along with a bunch of great acts including long time friend of Long Beach Radio, Wil. We've got another pair of tickets to give away for that too, so make sure you're listening close this week.

The "Big Fish" part of the update comes from The Ucluelet Salmon Ladder Derby where the top 5 fish for July are all Tyee!!1 weighing in at 30+lbs! Looks like the bite is on in Ukee, get yer ticket and get in the water.  Here's a picture of Robin Carr with the top fish at the time of this post, a (36lb, 1oz) Chinook;
